Tis the season for holiday parties. Whether you attend or host a big fancy party or just a small casual get-together, there is definitely one thing on everyone’s mind, and that is: “WHAT AM I GOING TO WEAR??”

It’s time to sparkle ladies so break out the sequins. I know that some of us shy away from the “bling”, so I’ve come up with some great ways of wearing sequins.

To get this party started I’ve picked eight of my favorite sequined holiday party outfits which can be worn day or night.

Day 1: Don’t Ever Let Anyone Dull Your Sparkle

Don’t be afraid to wear your favorite sequin dress during the day especially during the winter.  Multiple layers help tone down a sequin dress. I am wearing my sequin dress over a plain white tee and a simple bomber jacket.

Day 2: Live, Love, Sparkle

I am wearing the exact same sequin dress taking my look from day to night by eliminating the layers and the combat boots.  I added a pair of heels, a sequin clutch and some red lips for a dazzling evening look.

Day 3: You’re Not Fully Dressed Until You Sparkle

Combine the comfort of sequin jeggings with a comfy tee shirt and your favorite pair of sneakers for the day.

Day 4: Add A little Sparkle to Date Night

Wear a loose fitting sequin top with your favorite pair of distressed jeans, a pair of heels and a cute clutch to add some sparkle to your date night.

Day 5: Unleash Your Inner Sparkle

At first I  also shied away from sequins until my mom bought me a sweater with a sequin embellished neckline.  “Start small,” she said.  If you are not ready for full on day or night sequins try a clutch or a smaller sequined accessory like a belt to get your feet wet.

Day 6: She Who Leaves a Trail of Sparkle is Never Forgotten

Then of course, the party look.  A little black sequin dress and a pair of heels will never fail you on New Years Eve.

Day 7: Dream Big, Sparkle More, Shine Bright

If you want to make an entrance at your holiday party, find a pair of sequin palazzo pants and pair them up with a plain solid colored top. These pants  are standalone showstoppers.

Day 8: Leave a Little Sparkle Wherever You Go

Wear it with confidence.  This rule applies to anything you put on your body but especially with sequins – you have to own it!  Are you ready to SLAY for the HOLIDAYS???
