DIY No Sew Cloth Face Mask

CDC recommends wearing cloth face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain example grocery stores and pharmacies. CDC also advises the use of simple cloth face coverings to slow the spread of the virus and help people who may have the virus and do not know it from transmitting it to others.

I fashioned this face mask using a scarf / bandana. Hope you find this tutorial useful during this chaotic time.

Stay safe. Stay healthy. ????

Such a good DIY- we went out this weekend to get groceries and tied on bandannas. We looked a bit like we were robbers in the Old West, but you gotta do what you gotta do! 🙂

Oh great tutorial. Yes I never quite understood why they played down wearing masks in the first place. I mean if there are a lot of A Symptom people walking around and there is no way to know who they are then if everyone wore a mask it would help to a degree. But now they are…!

I think effective communication is key. Just as it has been for handwashing but communication was lacking when it came to masks.

Luckily I have a lot of masks that my company provided before we starting working from home. But now that it’s an order to wear them in Los Angeles anytime we are out of the house, mine will go fast. Thank you for sharing this! I’m going to share with my sister too, as she is on the front lines in the ER and they will be running out of masks by this Tuesday. It really is so sad and scary. Stay safe and Happy Easter! xo
