Re-Boot for Autumn

As temperatures begin to drop, there are only so many ways you can layer the sweaters and coats you have on rotation. One way to turn things up a notch and keep things interesting is to keep an inventory of versatile boots in your closet. Here are a few pairs of boots in my closet … and maybe a few more my husband does not know about.

I am obsessed with the ankle boots and booties which have been on-trend for the past few seasons, but this year’s styles include contrasting wooden, metallic, or printed heels and amazing colors.

I am in love with the wine or burgundy color this autumn and this Unisa Ressie Bootie from Designer Shoe Warehouse is on point.

From work to weekend, these boots are an easy go-to shoe that can compliment just about anything in your closet.

A solid pair of brown or black ankle booties with a chunky heel is a must-have.

Yes, booties are the perfect footwear for all,  given they go with everything from jeans, skirts, sweater dresses and more.

I thought the over-the-knee boots would just be a passing phase when they first came out, but now I cannot imagine my closet without them. Take your boot game to new heights with flat or heeled, over-the-knee boots. I love wearing my black suede over-the-knee boots with my favorite pair of skinny jeans.

Functional and tough with a menswear twist, these military-inspired style boots can kick a casual look into high gear.  Love these black combat boots with a hint of hardware for an edgy look.

I also love wearing my  knee high brown boots which I purchased last season from Sole Society. I love pairing them with dark wash jeans and adding a splash of color to my outfit.

Depending on your style and your personal preference, a classic black or brown riding boot might just be the only boot you need. I love a classic pair of flat riding boots; they are timeless and look stylish when paired with anything from jeans to equestrian pants.

I hope these fall and winter boot ideas inspires you to give different boot styles a try. Whatever your choose one of these boots will definitely have you walking tall.

Loved reading this post. Thank you Nikki. Although I don’t think I could muster up the courage to wear thigh high boots, you look sensational in them. I am loving the ankle booties. Thinking of getting a blue pair

Thank you Anjali 🙂 The OKB took some getting use to even for me. Glad that you’re thinking of purchasing a blue pair of booties. Enjoy!!!
